This is the essay paper. You’ll write one essay on each of the two works you’ve studied (a film and a book, or two books).
You’ll have a choice of questions for each work.
Essays are written in French and should be analytical and critical.
You’re aiming for around 300 words per essay – shorter or longer is fine, but this length gives you access to the full range of marks.

No dictionaries or access to the texts/films in the exam.
